I attended F.P.C. and took several courses under Bro. Adcock. I have heard some form of this message more than one time, but it is good to hear it again. Bro. Adcock was a godly man whose passion in preaching was genuine. His life was beyond reproach and he continually practiced the presence of God. Only heaven will reveal the extent of his influence. May the Lord help us to follow in his path.

What a wonderful Bible message! This is the kind of preaching we neeed today. So many people ask, why don’t we see souls coming to Christ like we used to? I believe we don’t here this kind of faithful preaching that is pointed and that will bring the conviction upon the hearts of the unsaved and unsanctified. Where are these faithful preachers today that live and preach fearlessly the solemn truths of God’s Holy Word. We are so blessed to have this sermon preserved for our hearing. Praise His Name!

My dad set under Rev. Adcock at FPC, and later I did too. My dad purchased his Gibson guitar from Sis. Adock in 1952, later when we moved back to F’fort and I entered H.S. my mother baby sit for the Adcock’s youngest two children and cleaned their home. I remember so well my mother saying when she entered Bro. Adcock’s study you could feel the very presense of the Holy Spirit. What a man what a preacher what a teacher. Just one more person that I’ll be glad to see when I enter those pearly gates.

My wife and I were blessed to sit under J. Wesley Adcock’s teaching at Frankfort Pilgrim College and then FWBC for three years. He was a delightful teacher and you could always count on a “surprise’ quiz in addition to other tests. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven!
