I have had the privilege of hearing many of these great men (and there are many)but it is my opinion that LB Hicks was the greatest orator of our generation. I would love to obtain some tapes of his sermons.

Dr Hicks preached one of the best sermons on consecration I ever heard. It was on tape, and had an illustration about a one eyed, one eared, ragged teddy bear.

Dr. L. B. Hicks was, without a doubt, the greatest orator in the Church of the Nazarene. His message ‘There must be a Heaven someplace’ is masterful. I was privileged to hear him in person on a number of occasions. I’m thankful that these messages have been preserved for another generation to enjoy and be blessed by.
